Mary Gundlach is a director, actor, and educator in New York City.

Recent directing credits include Fully Committed at New London Barn Playhouse, She Kills Monsters at Long Island University- Post and assistant directing the NYC workshop of Grounded with Dovetail Productions and In Character Productions. Mary is originally from Fort Lauderdale, FL where she performed with numerous regional theatres. She served as the Fine Arts Director for Bethany Christian School (2011-2018) and worked as an educator and director with Muse Children's Theatre (2010-2015) and Muse Theatre Co. Mary also served as a company member and resident director with New City Players from 2017-2021, where she was the proud recipient of the Silver Palm Award for Outstanding Direction in 2019. Mary received her B.A. in Theatre from FSU in 2009 where she returned to earn an M.F.A. in Directing, graduating in May of 2022. She has been living in NYC ever since and continues her search for a position assisting on Broadway. She hopes to self-produce this year, so be on the lookout for an update here!
